2. Types of Fire Extinguishers
Extinguishers shall be selected based on hazard classification:
- ABC Dry Chemical Powder (DCP)
- Multi-purpose (Class A, B, C fires)
- Most commonly specified for commercial buildings
- CO (Carbon Dioxide)
- For electrical panels, server rooms
- Water / Foam Type
- For Class A fires (wood, paper, fabric)
- Clean Agent (e.g., FM-200 / Novec)
- For sensitive equipment areas (data centers, labs)
3. Capacity
Typical sizes:
- 2 kg / 4 kg / 6 kg light hazard areas
- 9 kg standard commercial use
- 4.5 kg CO electrical applications

4. Construction & Features
- Cylinder: Mild steel or aluminum body with anti-corrosion coating
- Finish: Red powder-coated exterior
- Valve: Squeeze grip type with safety pin and tamper seal

5. Mounting Requirements
